Who needs fingerprinting

The Belleville Police Service takes fingerprints for civil purposes, including citizenship, employment, adoption, volunteer screening, immigration, visas/waivers, record-suspension (pardon) applications, and other civil purposes. Digital prints are accepted for most submissions; inked prints are used when fingerprints must be sent out of the country.
