Ammunition must be stored separately unless it is locked together with the firearm.

Transport

Retrieving a firearm held by police
Firearms are released only by pre-scheduled appointment through the Property Unit. You must present a valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) and any pertinent registration certificates. For restricted firearms, an Authorization to Transport (ATT) from the Chief Firearms Officer is required.

The Belleville Police Service Gun Hotline is a crime prevention initiative for reporting information about individuals and locations involved in the illegal possession or use of firearms. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
