Why register your bike

The Belleville Police Service has partnered with local retailers to combat bike theft and return stolen bicycles to their owners. Registering through 529 Garage records your bike's make, model, and serial number so it can be matched back to you if it is recovered.

How to register

  1. Open 529 Garage

    Visit project529.com/garage or download the free 529 Garage app.

  2. Add your bike

    Create an account and enter your bike's details — make, model, colour, and serial number — and add photos.

  3. Protect your ride

    Apply a 529 Shield tamper-resistant sticker if you have one, and keep your registration up to date.

Lost or stolen bike?

If your bike is stolen, report it through 529 Garage and to the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882.
