Community Policing Volunteers

Community Policing Volunteers build a partnership between the Belleville Police Service and residents, supporting community events and crime-prevention initiatives.

The Community Policing Volunteer Program is comprised of a dedicated group of individuals that create and maintain a dynamic partnership between the Belleville Police Service and the citizens of Belleville through the sharing of ideas and addressing issues of common concern in order to preserve and enhance the quality of life in our community.

Volunteers engage in a wide variety of community and police-based events throughout the city, and participate in initiatives to address areas of concern in our community through crime-prevention strategies. Volunteers give back to the community while enhancing communication, observation and teamwork skills — all while developing great friendships and invaluable experience for those interested in a career in law enforcement.
